Warm Naturism

Naturist campsite Creuse Nature is called after the department of La Creuse and its river. The campsite is situated in the Limousin area in the middle of unspoiled France at only 700 kilometres from Calais. Creuse Nature is easy to reach and ideal for families with children who do not want to drive great distances. The temperate climate of the Limousin is excellent for a naturist holiday; summers are dry and warm, but not too hot. At Creuse Nature reigns a honest naturist ambiance. Everybody is welcome. Naturism at Creuse Nature means respect of yourself, of others and of nature and tolerance towards guests who want to camp as a family but children of a certain age like to be dressed.

Nature and relaxation. Recreation

The campsite offers 19 hectares of nature to enjoy the fresh air, to sunbathe and to relax. It is the place to participate in activities that you normally do not normally do. We have a big range of cultural and sportive recreation, for young and old, in low, mid and high season. Click on the activity to discover the possibilities; felting, circus, archery, pottery, walking, cycling, abseiling, sculpting. We organise weeks of playing music and singing, jazz concerts, playing mah jong and nature. The two swimming pools one of which is indoors and heated, guarantee lovely swimming any moment of the year. Sauna, massages and aqua jogging are wellness for mind and body.

Indulging is allowed

Carpe diem, with an everyday fresh croissant of the local baker visiting our site each morning. Pamper yourself with a good coffee in the bar, a cool beer from the tap or a glass of good French wine with your meal in the restaurant. Easy and intimate! 

Not expensive

Creuse nature has something to offer for all price ranges. From camping pitches for a tent to a very comfortable ecological cottage. You can freely use our swimming pools, the sauna is free and open daily from 16h30 in low and midseason, warm showers of course and wifi for free almost everywhere on site. And in low and mid season we have special offers.

Enjoy

You enjoy your naturist holiday at Creuse Nature by camping with your own tent or caravan or by hiring a completely furnished tent or touring caravan, a mobil home, chalet or an ecologically build cottage. There are camping pitches with sun or with shade, quiet at the lake or in the woods or close to the swimming pools or sanitary facilities. Click on the map to get a idea of the pitches and the rental facilities. The campsite is open from April 1st to October 1 st. The luxuriously furnished ecologically build cottages and the chalet are available for rent whole year round.

An ecologically sound holiday

As long as possible. And responsible. For years now Creuse Nature is a green, sustainable and socially responsible run business and carries the green key label. This is an international label for enterprises in tourism who obviously take care of the environment. While enjoying a holiday at Creuse Nature you will notice our ecological reed filter sewage system and measures concerning waste bins, and water and energy use.

To discover

Interesting places and towns are in easy reach Lac de Vassivière, and the cities of Montluçon, Limoges, Aubusson, Ahun and La Châtre. Boussac is situated within walking distance and has supermarkets, restaurants and a nice market. Feminist avant la lettre George Sand, wrote one of her novels in the beautifully renovated castle of Boussac. Nearby are pictoresque little villages as Toulx-Sainte-Croix with its magic menhirs of Les Pierres Jaumâtres and a treeclimbing parc. The valley of the river Creuse is famous for its pictures signed by impressionist painters like Monet.
But discovery means as well; the carp in our lake, the fire salamander, the sea of bluebells in May, all the different birdsong at waking and the unique biodiversity. Beneficient. Discharge and recharge. Pure nature at your holiday!

Safety and children

Creuse Nature is an almost level, safe and very clear site. Children, also very young children find there way around quickly. They make friends easily because they can go ahead playing and discovering. In the swimming pool, joining in with activities friendships are born and maintained over many summers.

On holiday outside of high season?

Creuse Nature is specialised in convivial low and mid season. All ingredients are on site; with ACSI-card or Key-card you pay a moderate price for a pitch, so a long period on the road with caravan or camper does not cost a lot. Until June and from Septembre 1st we have a special stay 3 weeks and pay for 2 arrangement for camping and our rental facilities. The heated indoor swimming pool, massages and sauna take care of wonderful relaxation and supple muscles. There are numerous hiking and biking possibilities. The restaurant is open from april 1st to Septembre 30th. From april to juni and in septembre there are several special weeks and activities.
